Executive Director; Sustainable Development Expert

Sekou Mansaré

With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Sekou has contributed to social-change initiatives through research, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and organizational leadership. A co-founder of Jeune Espoir, he participated in the Mandela Washington Fellowship at Rutgers University in 2014 and later completed a Fulbright Master of Arts in Sustainable Development at SIT Graduate Institute. During his graduate studies, he worked with IREX in Washington, D.C. He leads Jeune Espoir’s administration, strategy, partnerships, and program development.

Accountant and Logistician

Boubacar Sidy Diallo

Sidy’s background in applied mathematics and accounting supports his multifaceted role at Jeune Espoir. He maintains verifiable financial records, supports payroll and logistics, and coordinates the daily organization of program participants. He contributes to enrolment, attendance tracking, event logistics, and certification ceremonies.

Powerful Blended Learning Expert and English Teacher

Aissata Lamarana Bah

Aissata holds a degree in English studies and has taught English as a second language through Jeune Espoir. In 2023, she completed a Community Engagement Exchange fellowship practicum at Digital Promise in Washington, D.C. There she strengthened her leadership, project-management, and digital-inclusion skills and helped develop a course for teachers working in low-tech environments. She later helped Jeune Espoir and Digital Promise pilot Powerful Blended Learning training with rural Guinean educators.

Digital Content Developer and STEM Teacher

Boubacar Barry

Boubacar has a background in electronics engineering and years of experience teaching mathematics, physics, and chemistry. At Jeune Espoir, he tutors students, develops locally relevant digital content, and contributes to interactive versions of Guinean middle- and high-school mathematics and science courses. He also helps teachers and learners use technology for deeper, more active learning.
